Far Cry 6 Flamethrower

For the Advanced 3D University project, I wanted to create a weapon with multiple materials to improve my material workflow further. I landed on Steve Hong's concept art for Far Cry 6 and felt that it was perfect to create a 3D rendition of his work. I took some artistic liberties such as the gauge that is attached to the side of the weapon, duct tape and some stickers around the gun to give it more personality and give it a more used feeling. This was a very fun project and I've learnt a lot about material properties for realistic rendering.
I used 3DsMax for modelling, Maya for unwrapping, Zbrush to make a high poly, Substance Painter and Photoshop for textures and Marmoset Toolbag for the final renders.
